Malé, Maldives – An Indian tourist drowned to death while swimming in a resort in Alif Dhaalu atoll on Sunday.
The deceased is identified as a 30-year-old Indian male.
Police confirmed that a drowning case was reported at 12:11 this afternoon. Doctors declared the person died while receiving treatment.
Police are now investigating the case.
