Some fans’ comments really hurt: Xhaka

After the controversy of Arsenal’s last home game in the premier league against Crystal Palace takes another turn as the club released a statement from the captain.

Xhaka who is going to sit the match against Wolves out, has apologized for his behavior towards the fans after being booed for his substitution in the 2-2 Palace draw. Emery’s men took a rather early lead which they later saw been equaled and a later Sokratis goal was taken away after another VAR drama.

Xhaka has confirmed that he reads the arsenal fans tweets, comments and messages which sometimes go to the extremes of death threats, and wishing for daughter to get cancer.  He said his giving the maximum in every game is never appreciated yet he receives constant criticism but his reaction on Sunday was not intended.

“That has not been my intention and I’m sorry if that’s what people thought”. Xhaka also wants to get back the respect of Arsenal fans he once had and he intends to give the respect fans deserve.

Arsenal will play against Wolverhampton Wanders at home again this evening, at 19:00, Maldives time.
