Covid-19: 133 potential vaccines in trial

Geneva, Switzerland – The World Health Organization says 133 potential vaccines are in trial worldwide for Covid-19.

According to the documents published by WHO, 10 of the potential vaccines are already in clinical trial in China, the United states and the UK.

WHO is attempting to increase the rate at which the most potential vaccine can be made out of the 133 vaccines, the World Health Organization (WHO) stated.

Three months ago, the approximate time considered for the development of the vaccine was 12-18 months, according to the director of WHO, Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

At present, there are 6.5 million confirmed cases of the new virus, Covid-19 found in December of 2018. While 3.1 million have recovered from the virus, 384,762 have passed away.
