New York City, United States of America – The release of the live-action Disney movie, Mulan is set to release on August.

The movie was originally scheduled to be released on March 27 and was later then postponed to be released on July 25. However, due to the ongoing pandemic the official release date had not been confirmed and was postponed until recently.

Deadline reported that Mulan is now set to be released on August 21.

While the pandemic has changed our release plans for ‘Mulan’ and we will continue to be flexible as conditions require, it has not changed our belief in the power of this film and its message of hope and perseverance,” Disney’s co-chairman and chief creative officer Alan Horn and co-chairman Alan Bergman said in a statement.

“Director Niki Caro and our cast and crew have created a beautiful, epic, and moving film that is everything the cinematic experience should be, and that’s where we believe it belongs — on the world stage and the big screen for audiences around the globe to enjoy together,” they added.

The Disney movie Mulan has released its official trailers, which stars an American-Chinese actress named Liu Yifei. Other stars such as Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Jet Li and Gong Li are featured in the movie as well.

The first live-action remake of Disney’s hit animated movie Mulan is directed by Niki Caro.

The animated movie Mulan had earned $304.3 million in Box Office.
