Covid-19: India records more than 900 deaths in one day

Delhi, India – More than 900 people have died due to Covid-19 in India in one day.

The Health Ministry of India has reported that 56,282 new Covid-19 infections have been recorded in the country, along with 904 deaths within the last 24 hours, marking the highest number of Covid-19 deaths in the country in a single day.

With this, number of people infected with Covid-19 in the country has exceeded 1.9 million, with over 40,000 deaths.

While the country announced a record number of deaths in the country on Wednesday, the highest number of deaths were reported from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Undra Pradesh and West Bengal.

India stands third as the country with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the entire country, right behind Brazil and America.
