California, United States — Simon Cowell gets his back broken after an unfortunate fall from his electric bicycle.

Simon Cowell, the judge of the famous show “America’s Got Talent,” has now undergone a surgery after his back was broken in several spots due to the fall.

According his spokesman, the 60-year-old entertainment mogul, who shares a child with his partner Lauren Silverman, was simply testing a new electric bike with his family in the courtyard of his home in Malibu, California, when he fell and broke his back severely.

“He was taken to hospital where they operated overnight, he’s under observation and is doing fine,” the spokeswoman told CNN.

Cowell told the Sun newspaper when he fell down the stars at his London home on 2017 that, “Sometimes we get a reminder that we’re not invincible and this was certainly mine, It was a huge shock”

“They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out,” he said.

“After all I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever.”

Cowell was set to return for the first live show of “America’s Got Talent,” which will be airing on Tuesday. Cowell is also known for being the judge of “Britain’s Got Talent,” “American Idol” and the “X Factor” as well.
