Male’, Maldives – Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has assisted a sea vessel which was stranded at sea after its engine failed.
MNDF revealed that it had received a report from the owner of a private ferry named “Sofwan”, which got stranded at sea near Sh. Ekasdhoo, after the boat ran out of fuel during its trip from Sh. Foakaidhoo to Sh. Maaungoodhoo. The boat was carrying 3 people at the time.
It was further revealed that the report was made to MNDF at around 18:18 on Wednesday, and that MNDF have assisted the vessel and those aboard.
