Male’, Maldives- The budget airline of UAE, Fly Dubai has announced flights to Maldives after previously stopping operations to Maldives in 2018.
Budget airline of Emirates, Fly Dubai would be restarting their flights to Maldives on the 27th of October. The popularity of Maldives amongst UAE tourists has increased after the borders were closed due to covid-19.
It has been decided to have 4 flights per week which will be on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
CEO of Fly Dubai Gaith Al Gaith has said that air travel is slowing becoming more frequent as countries are giving release on the measures put in place due to covid-19. He further added that Fly Dubai will fly to 40 destinations including Maldives.
More than 13,000 tourists have arrived to Maldives after reopening of the border. Till date most number of tourists are from UAE and Emirates and Etihad of UAE are already having flights to Maldives.
