Male’, Maldives – The Ministry of Tourism has announced that the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of Maldives has extended the negative PCR test validity time from 72 hours to 96 hours, for those who are coming into the Maldives.
The Ministry revealed this in a tweet, saying that this is another reason to visit the Maldives.

This comes as Maldives moves to re-open guesthouses within the islands on the 15th of October. With this, it is expected for tourists to find it easier to travel to the destination and choose among tourist facilities which are less pricey, thereby increasing the number of tourists which come to the Maldives.
Although there are several cases of Covid-19 in the country within the tourist resort, Maldives has been working hard to to become a tourist-safe zone, having have earned the title by World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) on the 15th of September. Multiple resorts have since opened up with safety measures in place, to provide the ultimate vacation experience in the paradise on Earth they call home.
