“Beyond Fake News” workshop to be held for journalists

Male’, Maldives – The American Center Maldives (ACM) has announced that it would be hosting an online workshop named “Beyond Fake News” on media literacy and fact fhecking for the journalists in Maldives.

According to the information revealed by ACM, they will be hosting the one day webinar on November 5 and it will be held via the online platform Zoom at 1600 hours and is expected to last approximately two hours.

The Journalists who are interested will get an opportunity to learn from four experienced media professionals of Maldives:

  • Mohamed Junayd — Maldives Correspondent for Reporters without borders
  • Nasma Abdul Muhsin — Media Professional
  • Ali Naafiz — Freelance writer and PR Consultant
  • Moosa Latheef — Editor of Mihaaru (Local media outlet)
