2020 US elections: Tight race for House, Republicans lead

The election for House of Representatives in the 2020 US elections show a lead for Republicans, in a tight race to win majority, which requires 218 seats.

As per the latest figures by the Associated Press, Republicans lead with 160 seats as Democrats follow behind with 156. Some of the notable races in this election are;

  • California district 21 – TJ Cox leads
  • California district 25 – Christy Smith leads
  • Georgia district 6 – Lucy McBath leads
  • Georgia district 7 – Rich McCormick leads
  • Illinois district 13 – Rodney Davis won
  • Indiana district 5 – Victoria Spartz leads
  • Iowa district 1 – Ashley Hanson leads
  • Iowa district 2 – Rita Hart leads
  • Iowa district 3 – Cindy Axne leads
  • Maine district 2 – Jared Golden leads
  • Minnesota district 7 Michelle Fischbach leads
  • Nebraska district 2 – Donald Bacon leads
  • New Jersey district 3 – Andy Kim won
  • New Mexico district 2 Yvette Herrell leads
  • New York district 14 – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won
  • Minneapolis district 5 – Ilhan Omar won
