Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona dies at age 60

Buenos Aires, Argentina – One of the greatest football player of all time, Diego Maradona passes away at the age of sixty.

According to the lawyer of Maradona, he passed away after suffering a heart attack at his home in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The President of Argentina, Alberto Fernandez declared three days of national mourning for the country and said that “You took us to the top of the world. You made us immensely happy. You were the greatest of them all.” and bid farewell to Maradona by thanking him for existing and that he will be missed by everyone throughout their lives.

The sorrowful news comes days after Maradona had undergone his surgery on a brain blood clot. He was hospitalized days after he celebrated his 60th birthday, following the complains of low spirits and fatigue. Maradona was later also supposed to get treatment for alcohol dependency.

Following the news of Maradona, the national team of Argentina payed tribute to one of the nation’s best football player and said that, “You will be eternal in every heart of the football world.”

Diego Maradona is widely known around the world and is the idol of many football players around the world. He started his football carrier at the age of only 16 and has ever since been known as one of the greatest players spotted on the football field.

Maradona is mostly referred to as one of the greatest football players of all time, and by many as the greatest footballer in history. Along with playing football, Maradona was also known as a great football manager during his lifetime.
