Laamu Atoll, Maldives – President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, during his trip to Laamu Atoll today, has inspected the final demonstration of a special military training held for the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), by the United Kingdom’s Military Training Team.
The demonstrations were held at the Central Area Command, located in Kadhhoo island of Laamu Atoll, which was also attended by Minister of Defense of Maldives Mariya Didi, along with the High Commissioner of the UK to the Maldives Caron Rohser, the Chief of Defense Force Major General Abdullah Shamaal, and other general officers of MNDF.
According to the Chief of Defense Force Major General Abdullah Shamaal, the program held at Kadhhoo was a Counter Terrorist Close Quarter Battle Course, held specially for the MNDF Marine Corps by the UK Military Training Team.
