Male’, Maldives – Litus Maldives has donated four motorcycles to Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Coastguard at a special ceremony in Hulhumale’.
The chief guest at the ceremony held in Hulhumale’ to present the cycles to the Coastguard was Chief of Defence Force Major General Abdullah Shamaal. The cycles were presented to coastguard by General Manager Ahmed Zahir representing Litus, and were received by Commander of Coastguard Cournal Mohamed Saleem representing the coastguard.
Following the donation from Litus, Coastguard presented Litus with a special document in order to recognize Litus for their donation. On behalf of MNDF Coastguard, Major General Shamaal presented the document to General Manager of Litus Ahmed Zahir. Both Major General Shamaal and Managing Director of Litus Ahmed Zahir gave remarks at the ceremony.
The cycles were donated under a special programme of Litus CSR, in order to recognize the hard work done by the Coastguard to protect the lives of citizens on the sea. The company donated the Haojue 125CC brand cycles which were recently brought into the market.
