Thinadhoo, Maldives – A new cases of Covid-19 has been recorded in Thinadhoo, in connection to the ‘Aviation Cluster’ recorded in Addu.
Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital in Thinadhoo revealed that the individual who tested positive today was a direct contact of the first case which was recorded in connection to this cluster.
With this, the total number of positive cases in connection to this cluster has increased to 24, including the 22 cases in Addu and the two cases in Thinadhoo.
As of now, there are three active cases in Thinadhoo including the positive case identified from the island during active surveillance.
