Addu City, Maldives – Two more positive cases have been recorded in Hithadhoo district of Addu City, belonging to the cluster connected to the Aviation Security Command training (Aviation Cluster). The total number of positive cases for the Aviation Cluster is now at 35.
The 2 new Covid-19 positive individuals were quarantined due to direct contact with another positive individual from the same cluster.
With this new addition, the number of active cases in Hithadhoo has increased to 22.
With this, the total active cases in the city has gone up to 60, with cases attributed to two different clusters. The Aviation Cluster currently has 35 active cases, while the Hulhumeedhoo MTCC cluster has 25 active cases.
