Hanimaadhoo, Maldives – The National Drug Agency (NDA) has confirmed that an individual admitted at the Hanimaadhoo Detox Center, which is operated under the Agency, has passsed away.
It was detailed that the individual passed away at the facility while seeking treatment, sometime during the hours of Saturday morning.
While no further details were revealed as to the nature and cause of the death, it was reassured that the matter is under investigation by Maldives Police Service.
Maldives Police is also yet to make a comment on the matter.
