Minister Mausoom arrives in India to represent Maldives at SATTE India

New Delhi, Maldives — The Tourism Minister of Maldives, Abdullah Mausoom has gone on an official trip to the neighboring country, India to represent the Maldives in South Asia’s leading Travel and Tourism Exhibition (SATTE) India.

Minister Mausoom arrived to India last night after his short official trip to the southernmost atolls of Maldives. He arrived to New Delhi to attend the Roadshow and SATTE India on behalf of the Maldives. Minister Mausoom was accompanied by a team of the Ministry of Tourism of Maldives along with a team of Visit Maldives.

Minister Mausoom and his team received a warm welcome at the New Delhi airport by the team of the High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to India and the HC himself, Hussain Niyaz.

The 28th edition of SATTE is to be held three days from now at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR. It is expected to last for three days until 26th March 2021. SATTE stands as the internationally acclaimed travel and tourism exhibition across India. It is a leading event in South Asia, from every aspect, including convenience and professionalism.

Minister Mausoom stated that India is highly appreciated for the contributions they have provided for the tourism recovery of the island nation. India is the leading market in tourist arrivals this year for the Maldives.
