Education Ministry investigates Edexcel A levels paper leak

Malé, Maldives – Ministry of Education has stated that they had begun an investigation in to the leaked Edexcel A level papers.

According to the Education Ministry, no exam papers had been leaked from any of the exam centers in the Maldives. Ministry further added that they had gotten reports of paper leaks from other countries and that they were investigating the matter further.

While Edexcel A level exams have begun on April 26 of this year, the exams were preponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Ministry had previously released a statement informing that the sudden change brought to the exam time period was brought by Edexcel without consulting with the Ministry.

Following the change brought to the A level & AS level exams, the Education Ministry announced that they have decided to postpone the HSE exam date to a month from the scheduled A level & AS level exam time period from June 13 till June 17.
