Malé, Maldives – Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has announced for a technical consultant to further develop their payment system.
MMA informs that those interested in becoming a technical consultant for the company must submit their proposals to the authority before August.
MMA aims to implement the payment system by February of 2021. MMA stated that this payment will change the entire landscape of money circulation. They added that they will develop a uniform payment gateway, connecting all financial services in Maldives through one system.
MMa is currently working on the payment system with the help of a Finnish company. The system will allow customers to use transactions with checks and other financial transactions through one single system in real time.
