VP Faisal Naseem embarks on official visit to Fuvahmulah City

Malé, Maldives – Vice President Faisal Naseem on Sunday afternoon left for Fuvahmulah City on a two-day visit. In Fuvahmulah City, he would attend the signing ceremony for the coastal protection project.

The Vice President would also attend the ground-breaking ceremony of a mosque development project in the harbour area. He would conclude his visit and return to Malé City on Monday, December 13, 2021.

Vice President Faisal Naseem visited Fuvahmulah city and neighboring Addu City in October 2021 on a four day trip.

During this trip, the Vice President met with the members of the city councils of both cities and discussed their interests and needs. He held discussions with several key stakeholders from both cities. He also toured important landmarks and checked on the progress of government development projects in the cities.

Vice President Faisal Naseem participated in several important events during this trip, such as the ceremony to inaugurate the construction of Masjid Al-Hudha in Fuvahmulah City and the Service Excellence Programme at Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) in Addu City.
