National Airline “Maldivian” acquires its first ATR aircrafts

Malé, Maldives – Island Aviation Services Ltd has today announced that the company has signed a contact for the purchase of three ATR aircrafts.

The ATR aircrafts to be delivered in 2022 are two ATR 72-600 and one ATR 42-600.

The aircrafts are equipped with PW127XT engines, with a 3% decrease in fuel consumption and a 20% decrease in maintenance costs. The ATR aircrafts are also compatible with sustainable aviation fuels (SAF).

The Maldives national airline, Maldivian, along with manufacturer ATR are focused on environment friendly economic development.
