Sri Lanka – The Speaker of the Maldives Parliament Mohamed Nasheed has called on the Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa during his official visit to Sri Lanka.
Several important matters were discussed at the meeting.
Speaker Nasheed departed to Sri Lanka on Sunday at the invitation of Minister of Youth and Sports, Minister of Development Coordination and Monitoring and State Minister of Digital Technology and Enterprise Development Namal Rajapaksa.
Speaker Nasheed will attend the second session of the fifth Sri Lankan Youth Parliament as the chief guest. The session aims to foster leadership skills among the Sri Lankan youth.
The Speaker will meet with Sri Lankan leaders and foreign investors.
