President Solih concludes visit to UAE

Malé, Maldives – President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih concluded his official trip to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), on Wednesday morning and returned to Malé City.

The President’s visit to Dubai is at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces.

During his three-day visit, President Solih attended the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) and the Zayed Sustainability Prize awards ceremony where Addu City’s Hira School won in the Global High Schools category for the South Asian region.

Afterwards, President Solih visited Expo 2020 Dubai and toured the pavilions, making stops at the Maldives Pavilion, the Singapore Pavilion, the Italy Pavilion, and the Vision Pavilion.

A high-level government delegation accompanied President Solih on his visit.
