Malé, Maldives – An English passenger has passed away at Velana International Airport (VIA) earlier today.
Maldives Airports Company Limited inform that the English man suffered a heart attack at the VIA smoking room. The man died while receiving emergency care at the airport.
The man has now been transferred to Treetop Hospital located in Hulhumalé.
