Malé, Maldives – The leadership of Maldives Reform Movement (MRM) held a series of meetings with ambassadors to Maldives this month.
Spokesperson of MRM Ismail Nail Nasheed stated that some of the meetings were held by the request of MRM while others were at the invitation of the ambassadors.
The purpose of these meetings was to introduce the leadership of MRM and to discuss the political landscape of the Maldives.
The President of MRM Faris Maumoon along with members of the political party met with the Ambassadors of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, USA, UK on separate occasions with the most recent meeting held between the party and the Indian Ambassador.
MRM is part of the incumbent ruling coalition of the Maldives.
