Malé, Maldives – Maldives National University, on Wednesday, appointed Dr. Aishath Sharoona as the university’s new Dean of Health and Science Faculty.
The appointment was officiated during a special ceremony held to the effect. Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Shanoora assured that she will always exercise her duties keeping in mind the gravity of the responsibility that lies on her shoulders.
She also promised that her efforts will always be towards ensuring that the Faculty of Health and Science reaches new heights.
“This is a very important day for me during my career at MNU. While I have accepted a post filled with responsibilities, I have goals I want to achieve in order to ensure a brighter future for Health Science. I will always remain committed to achieve this,” she said.
Dr. Sharoona holds a PhD in Social Psychology, and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Research Studies, in addition to the Masters in Counseling and Professional Diploma in Teacher Education that she has to her name.
Prior to being appointed as the Dean of Health Science Faculty, she worked as a lecturer and Assistant Professor at the same faculty of MNU.
