Malé, Maldives – It has been announced that Mufti Dr Ismail Menk will be delivering the sermon and leading the Friday Prayers at the Grand Friday Mosque, the Islamic Center in Malé.
The arrangement was announced by Minister of Islamic Affairs Ahmed Zahir Ali on Twitter, revealing that the sermon will focus on the topic, “revive your connection with Allah”.
During the Mufti’s tour to the Maldives this time, he is scheduled to preach in four different areas across the country from 28th to 31st October; Malé, Hulhumalé, Fuvahmulah and Addu City. The Islamic Ministry has published the time and location of these speeches.
The Zimbabwe born global Islamic scholar previously also toured the Maldives as recently as 2020, and as early as 2015.
