Malé, Maldives – Renowned Muslim scholar and motivational speaker Sheikh Ismail Ibn Musa Menk, more commonly known as Mufti Menk, has arrived in the Maldives.
Mufti Menk was welcomed by Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir at Velana International Airport along with other senior officials of the ministry.
During the Mufti’s tour to the Maldives this time, he is scheduled to preach in four different areas across the country from 28th to 31st October; Malé, Hulhumalé, Fuvahmulah and Addu City.
Mufti Menk’s lecture schedule:
- October 28 – Malé City – Carnival area
- October 29 – Fuvahmulah City – Fuvahmulah Stadium
- October 30 – Addu City – Addu City square
- October 31 – Hulhumalé – Hulhumalé synthetic track area
The lectures will be open to public, and will be broadcasted live through TV, radio and social media. Questions will not be taken from the audience.
In addition to these public lectures, Mufti Menk will also be holding a lecture for employees of the President’s Office, and other government offices.
The Zimbabwe born global Islamic scholar previously also toured the Maldives as recently as 2020, and as early as 2015.
