Let go of jealousy or animosity: President Solih

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has urged people to let go of jealousy or animosity.

He made these remarks in a statement on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

President Solih also added that Eid celebrations are a time for reconciliation and goodwill.

In his message, President Solih extended greetings and felicitations to all Muslims in Makkah for the Holy Pilgrimage and to the members of the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Encouraging everyone to rekindle family bonds by embracing parents with respect and presenting gifts to their spouses and children with love, the President recommended visiting relatives and friends and exchanging Eid wishes to promote societal peace and harmony.

He added that those with the means must take the initiative to help the less fortunate.
 
The President concluded his message by calling on people to avoid anger and violence and seek solace in life through compassionate relationships.
