Colonel (Retired) Ahmed Jihad has been appointed as a member of the National Integrity Commission (NIC) by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
The officiating took place during a ceremony held on Monday morning at the President’s Office. Jihad’s name was approved by the parliament with the vote of 78 members of the Parliament.
Previous posts held by Jihad include various positions in MNDF, which totals to 31 years of service in the defense force. His last designation was Deputy Search Coordinator at Coast Guard Marine Rescue Coordination Centre.
