Health Protection Agency (HPA) has announced that 49 individuals quarantined at Fun Island Resort have tested negative for Covid-19 after being tested upon the completion of the 14 day quarantine period.
In a tweet sent out by HPA, the agency confirmed that all individuals tested negative following the 14 day quarantine and that the agency is now arranging their transfers.
In Saturday night’s press conference, spokesperson of the national Covid-19 task force, Mabrouq Azeez reiterated that the individuals in question would only be released upon testing negative and that their respective families would be notified of their release from quarantine.
He also stated that only one family member would be able to receive each individual and that a families would be notified of the location later on.
