Addu City, Maldives – Health Emergency Operation Center (HEOC) has revealed that a 24 year old male has tested positive for Covid-19 in Addu City.
The individual, who completed a travel related quarantine of 14 days was tested prior to his release, of which the results came back positive. The individual is to remain in isolation during his treatment.
Public Health officials have since conducted a contact tracing procedure as per protocol, which has concluded that the individual has know known contacts during the time he spent in quarantine.
Authorities have also reported that he is asymptomatic and cooperating with the officials exceptionally well.
