Male, Maldives – Health Protection Agency (HPA) has announced the there are 32 islands apart from the Male’ region with active cases of Covid-19.
According to the latest statistics shared by HPA, there are a total of 68 active cases in 32 different islands of the country. While all cases are fortunately of home quarantine, the island with the highest number of Covid-19 cases is F. Nilandhoo, with 7 cases at present time.
In addition, 9 tourists and 23 staff have also tested positive for the virus from 10 different resorts of Maldives.

- S. Hithadhoo: 5 cases
- K. Thulusdhoo: 2
- F. Nilandhoo: 7 cases

- V. Keyodhoo: 1 case

The number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Maldives is on the rise, with daily cases exceeding a hundred on average. The number of total cases in the country has exceeded 7000.
