Male, Maldives – State Trading Organization (STO) has donated a PCR machine to Police lab.
The machine was handed over to Maldives Police Service by the Managing Director of STO, Hussain Amru, and was received by Directorate of the Forensics Service, Abdullah Ahmed.
STO recently donated two PCR machines to IGMH as well. With this, STO hopes that the testing capacity of Maldives would be increased significantly.
The demand for increasing the testing capacity in Maldives is increasing daily are more and more people test positive for Covid-19, specially in the central region, which is now sweeping up into the rest of the country as well.
