Male’, Maldives – Two males have been arrested in Male’, the capital of Maldives, for possession of alcohol.
The two individuals, aged 29 and 17, were arrested with 240 cans of beer. The pair were busted during a joint operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit and the Drug Intelligence Unit of Maldives Police Service.
The arrest was made on Wednesday, after getting caught red handed with the beer cans in a house in the Galolhu district of Male’.
Police are now investigating the matter.
