Fly me begins international flights

Male’, Maldives – Local airline, Fly Me has made its first international flight on Friday.

The airline operated its first international flight following the obtainment of the Air Operators Certificate (AOC), on Thursday.

With this, Fly Me flew to its first destination on Friday, which was a chartered flight to Sri Lanka. However, the airline revealed that it will be making scheduled flights to the country, along with other destinations with in the Asian continent, as borders open up.

Fly Me began its operations for the first time, in 2011 with only domestic flights. Currently, it flies between Male’, Dharavandhoo and Maamigili as local destinations.
