HA.Dhihdhoo, Maldives – An elderly man found lying unconscious on the shoreline area of HA. Dhidhhoo, has died.
Maldives Police Service revealed that a report was received by the institution, of a person being found unresponsive on the shoreline of the island at around 17:56 on Thursday. The individual was then taken to the hospital by an ambulance with the assistance of Police.
However, doctors stated that the 59 year old local had passed away prior to being taken to the hospital, said Police.
Despite this, Police are still looking into the matter.
