Addu City, Maldives – A potentially dangerous accident took place during the early hours of Monday morning in Addu City.
The accident took place on Addu Link Road, near the area which is being developed as the Police Training School. It is reported that the car was carrying passengers and was moving towards Gan when it flipped over onto the side.
No one is reported to have been injured, how ever the car may have been damaged to an extent.
While Police are reported to be investigating the accident, no comment has been made regarding the case.
While it is common for accidents to take place on the Link Road, the number of accidents have decreased significantly in recent years, with the fatality rate also having have gone down.
