VP of USA negative for Covid-19

Washington DC, America — Vice President of the United States Mike Pence and his wife Karen Pence have tested negative for Covid-19.

Pence was tested for the coronavirus after President of the United States tested positive for Covid-19 along with First Lady Melania Trump, earlier today.

Devin O’Malley, Press Secretary took to Twitter to announce the news, also revealing that the VP has been getting tested for the novel coronavirus daily, for month.

Trump and his wife were tested for Covid-19 after one of Trump’s closest aides, Holly Hick tested positive for the virus.

Trump, is reported to be showing mild symptoms, comes under the high-risk category due to his advanced age, at 74 years. Therefore, the White House medical team is closely looking after his medical health.

Till now more than 200,000 people have died in the United States due to the virus.
