Malé, Maldives — A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed by the Maldives National University (MNU) to implement a Health Emergency Risk Management program.
Mnu has signed the MoU in an epidemic context, along with the European Institute for Export Compliance (EIFEC) and University of Turin from Italy.
A special signing ceremony was held on Wednesday, where the MOU was signed by MNU’s Vice Chancellor, Dr Mohamed Shareef and by the Director General of EIFEC, Charles Giacoma.

The EIFEC is an Export Compliance international standard-setting organization that has the responsibilities of the development of standards, guidelines and certification mechanisms for emergency situations, including the threat of nuclear, biological and chemical armaments proliferation, sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering, and Health Emergency Risk in an epidemic context.
