10 children’s parks to be developed with India grant assistance

Malé, Maldives — Ten parks in various parts of the Maldives have been decided to be developed with the assistance of neighboring India.

The Youth Minister of Maldives, Ahmed Mahloof tweeted on Saturday to reveal that Children’s Parks will be developed in 10 different islands of Maldives under the grant assistance of the neighboring country, India.

According to Minister Mahloof, 6 parks will be built in the islands of Shaviyani Atoll. They are in Sh. Laimagu, Sh. Feevah, Sh. Komandoo, Sh. Noomara, Sh. Bilehfahi and Sh. Feydhoo.

The remaining four parks will be developed in three islands of Noonu Atoll. They are N. Maafaru, N. Fohdhoo, N. Miladhoo and in one island of Haa Dhaalu Atoll, which is HDh. Naivandhoo.

The island nation has previously also assigned several companies of the task of developing parks in the islands of Maldives. Some islands also have an exercising area developed by the government for public use.
