A bangladeshi found dead in Malé

Malé, Maldives — A Bangladeshi has been found dead in a house in the capital city of Maldives, Malé.

Maldives Police Service revealed that they recieved a report of a foreigner who was found dead in a house in Henveyru, Malé, today.

Although the police did not reveal further details of the death, they revealed that the deceased was a 40-year-old Bangladeshi national, and that they will be investigating the matter to find the cause of the date.

This is not the first time such an incident had occurred in Maldives. On August 12, another expatriate was also found dead in a house in Malé city. The police revealed that this deceased was an Indian national who was found dead in a house in Maafannu district. However police revealed no further details as to what caused the death or whether the case was being considered a murder.

On April 14, a third expatriate was also found dead in a house in Male’. According to Police the individual was a Bangladeshi national and he was found dead in a house at Machhangolhi, Male’. Police stated that they were further investigating the matter and refrained from revealing any further details.
