Malé, Maldives – The Maldives Police Service have confirmed that an elderly man was found dead in a Malé home today.
The Police identified the deceased as a 83 year old male located at a private home in the Henveyru district.
The incident was reported to the police at 14:30. Police are further investigating the matter.
One week ago, on 14 November, a 37 year old Maldivian man was also found dead in an abandoned house in the capital city Malé. Two additional similar deaths were recorded earlier this year with a 29 year old female and 61 year old male found deceased at their homes in Malé.
