Malé, Maldives — The President of Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih visits Girifushi Island to observes the Range Day activities held by the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF).
On 31st October, a statement released from the President’s Office reveals that the President visited the Girifushi Training Center to observe the ‘Range Day 2020’ activities that are being held by MNDF. Along with the President, Minister of Defense, Uza Mariya Ahmed Didi, and Chief of Defense Force, Major General Abdulla Shamaal also visited the training center on Saturday.
On their arrival, the MNDF officials informed President Solih of the new safety measures and the recent upgrades the Girifushi Firing Range has. While the officials informed that President, he inspected the weapons and the fire targets that are being used in the shooting range.

The Range Day is an event where the officials participate in several military activities that takes place. It is held by the MNDF each year.
