One United Maldives recognized as Official Supporters’ Club

Male’, Maldives – One United Maldives (OUM) has been recognized by Manchester United as an Official Supporters’ Club in Maldives

As per their press statement OUM is a non-profit organization that was established by a group of young enthusiastic Manchester United fans on 27 November 2018 in order to become the first Official Manchester United Supporters Club (MUSC) in the country.

Manchester United’s website states the Lead Contact of MUSC Maldives as Ismail Simon, and lists various contact details for OUM. They have also mentioned game screenings are to be held at Club 360 and Retro Café.

The statement explains that they recently held their first Annual General Meeting and adapted their Articles of Association as per the new regulations of Associations.

Following the General Meeting, OUM has sent out an open invitation to the community for a “Race to 50”, where official membership holders of Manchester United for the 2020/21 season will be among the first list of members whose names were to be sent for endorsement of OUM by Manchester United as their Official Supporters Club in Maldives.
