Temporary labour village to be built in Hulhumale’ phase II

Hulhumale’, Maldives – A tender has been announced by Maldives Road Development Corporation Limited (MRDC) for the development of a temporary labour village at Hulhumale’ Phase II.

The tender posted by MRDC called for parties who would be interested in financing, designing and constructing a temporary labour village to submit their names for bidding.

Interested parties have until 14:00 of December 3 to register for bidding, which can be done with an email to tender@rdc.com.mv. This email can also be used for any inquires. MRDC has requested to include the following in the email:

  • Company name
  • Project name
  • Invitation Number
  • Company contact information
  • Name and email of a company representative

MRDC has said that a verification process will be carried out within 3 days of the deadline

MRDC noted that bid submitters will need to pay MVR 200,000 and equivalent USD as bid security, and that bids can only be submitted by registered individuals, adding that bids will be accepted by MRDC’s office at the MSL Building on Orchid Magu. Bidding deadline is set as 10:00 of the 20th of December.
