The 5 positive cases are from individuals in home quarantine. Another 14 days have been added to their quarantine.
Nellaidhoo Council has informed that they are recommending the local islanders to wear masks at all times and remain at home as a precautionary measure.
Maldives currently has a total 1,042 active cases, and 14,830 confirmed positive cases. To date, 50 people have passed away from Covid-19 in Maldives.
