Malé, Maldives — The State Trading Organisation (STO) announced that they have appointed Ms. Hawwa Nafia as the company’s new Chief Internal Auditor.
Effective February 1st, 2021, Ms. Nafia will be working as Chief Internal Auditor of STO. The company informed that Ms. Nafia has experience in auditing in various capacities and also serves as a Director at Allied Insurance.
STO tweeted to congratulate and welcome Ms. Nafia into the company.
STO was established on 9th June 1979, when the then fully state funded business, Athireemaafannu Trading Agency (ATA) established in 1964 was changed to the State Trading Organisation.
