Malé, Maldives – The Economic Ministry has requested for institutions providing medical examination required for work permits of expatriate workers to register at the Ministry.
The Ministry announced that the registration for institutes providing medical examinations for work permits is open from today onwards. The Ministry added that the institutions providing the service must meet certain conditions such as receiving the required approval from the Health Ministry to provide the above mentioned service.
In addition to this, the Ministry noted that the institutions registering must present the documentation from the Health Ministry of the approval for ‘medical examinations for work permit’ and that the institute must be in a condition to share the medical reports with the ministry under certain guidelines set by the authority.
The form to register is now available for download from the Economic Ministry website. The Ministry requested to submit the ‘work permit medical service provider registration application’ through the expat online system after completing the application with all the required documentations and register at the Ministry.
